This page describes what this website actually does with data — no accounts, no individual visitor profiles, no tracking beyond what's disclosed below.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you individually. There's no login, no account creation, and no server-side database of visitors. The site does use aggregate, cookie-free traffic analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — it reports overall numbers like page views, popular pages, referrers, and country-level location derived from your IP address at request time, but it doesn't set a cookie, doesn't assign you a persistent ID, and doesn't create a record tied to you individually that anyone could look up later. We use these aggregate numbers to understand overall traffic and site usage, not to identify or track individual visitors.

Third-party content on this site

Recipe images are hotlinked directly from their original sources (Wikimedia Commons, GitHub-hosted repositories) rather than stored on our own server — loading a recipe page with a photo means your browser makes a direct request to that host, which sees your IP address the same way it would for any image request.

Ingredient "Buy" links go to Amazon search results and are Amazon Associates affiliate links — if you buy something after clicking through, this site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon's own privacy policy governs what happens once you're on their site.

Advertising: this site may show ads served by a third-party ad network (e.g. Google AdSense). Ad networks typically use cookies to personalize ads and measure performance; if you'd rather not receive personalized ads, most networks offer an opt-out (for Google, via Google Ad Settings).

Cookies & local storage

The site doesn't set cookies. It does use one piece of browser local storage: when you star a video recipe, the recipe's ID is saved in your browser so the site can tell you've already starred it and stop the button from counting a second like. Nothing identifying you is stored — no account, no name, no IP address — just a list of recipe IDs, kept entirely on your device. Clearing your browser's site data, or starring from a different browser or device, resets it.

Links to "Track this in Meal & Muscle Tracker" take you to a separate app with its own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If what this site actually does changes — a real ad network goes live, analytics gets added, a feature starts using local storage — this page will be updated to match.
